After installing Spybot Search & Destroy v1.4, do the following:

1. Update the program
2. Allow Spybot S&D to immunized your Internet Explorer
3. If Opera Browser is installed, select "Opera Immunity"
4. Don't forget to select "Enable Blocking of Bad Address in Internet Explorer
5. If you want Spybot Search & Destroy to detect all items that it can detect, read this
6. Configure the settings (for Advanced mode users only)
7. Make sure that detections are loaded before running a scan.
To verify it is loaded:
*For Basic Mode users: In Spybot S&D>Help>About. You should see the date of the lastest detection update
*For Advanced Mode users: Use the above method or Spybot S&D>Settings>Ignore Products. Verify that the shown tabs has list of products for detections.
If it is not loaded, simply restart Spybot S&D
8. Run a scan!
